Precious Tears...

Havent blogged abt my sweet chillu baby for quite some time ...so i thought i would ...

So howz Chillu baby these days ?


She s doing great !!!


She walks, runs, and even eats all by her self... Does nt want to be fed anymore. " Mommy, dont feed me. Im a Big Girl now " is the expression i get nowadays.. :( Though im a lil happy at the corner of my heart now.. a thought keeps wandering around my mind, as to ~" i can cuddle, feed, adorn, bath, dress etc, my baby only for a few more yrs' . After that, will i be hearing " Mommy, dont touch me, Im a grown up and i can do things my self " from my baby ??? :((( ...


I also keep thinking, as a mother, i make sure she gets the best out of even the smallest of smallest things in the whole world...Of course every mother would think in the same way. And now that she has started calling us " Ma " "Pa" , and plays " Hide n Seek ", " laughs " , " winks " etc , our love for her has increased in infinite measure... Her activities are very cute and hilarious and anybody wowuld instantly fall in love with this sweet chillu baby..



But, some day, we have to let go our daughter to some stranger we dont know or heard of at all ?????? !!!! This is insane and ridiculous .... I cant let goo ..neither can my husband. It so happened , yesterday my hubby said to me " Today i dont feel that good, some thoughts are flashing all over my mind that Some day we have to be away from our daughter... " . And "What a co-incidence!!!" i said.. Coz i was thinking of the same for quite some time ....



How can a stranger come in all of a sudden from on where, just to marry our daughter and seperate her from us ??? Thats the day i wish would hope never ever come by... And in the way time flys by, makes me want to use a "Time turner " and let her remain with us in the same way !!!

But i know... this cant happen. Time does fly in light's speed and she seems to be growing in twice the light's speed .. and now tears are rolling past my cheeks ..:(



I wonder how my parents felt, when they let me go ??? I know they would have had immense pain in their hearts .. I saw my parents cry the day i got married. And that was the first time i saw my father ( my hero ) cry !!!



And yes, it would be the same, years from now for us both too... And i am still now able to believe im going to be in the same position my mother was, a few years later. Anyways, "there are lot more happy moments and good cherishable moments to come which we need to focus on now then to keep worrying about something in the future" is how i convince my self .... I guess, every parent, including myself should just learn or try to get used to god's plan and live our lives!!!


I had no intention to shed my tears before i started writing this blog ... But towards the end, i am ....... and so i updated the title accordingly..
Love you mom. Love you dad ...

Baby TV

Well....wanted to share with you all a very cute and innocent video which myself and chillubaby enjoy watching the most. "Jooo jooo ma...bapikemiya jo jo . in baby tv babi kemiya jojo ...."Hmmm...trying to guess what language this is ??????? ha ha .....Its Baby language !!!Chooo Cute ..isnt it !!! I generally get mails on how the baby's development should be at every stage ... And it stated for my 9 months old that:"By this week, your baby may be able to pull herself up very easily and sit down again (without just falling back on her butt). She's also likely developed enough leg strength and balance to go for a little walk with you if you hold both of her hands -- great practice for her first unassisted steps, which may happen any day now (although most infants don't start walking solo until closer to 13 months). "

What can i say ...." Chillu baby is already walking and running and tottering all around the place ... " I know ....i keep telling this again and again....Its just that im so baffaled and obfuscated about how chillu baby is able to do it !!! Well ...if you are wondering how ???? Its in her genes .... Oh come on, its not from me!!!. Its from her father !!!

Its so that even Chillu baby's father started walking and running at the early age of 9 months. Hey, im not being frivolous. ..Its true. These were the few things ppl told me when we got married :))Ya he is squite an extra ordinary genius in everything. And thats where chillu baby got all her energy and stamina from...

Neways every child is different and unique in his/her own way. I can see how unique my sweet chillu baby is ....You are special my sweet baby. You are ...always my sweet lil chillu baby!!! And im proud of you....

Peek - a - Boohhhhh

Peek-a- Booh ....Peek - a - Booh ....
Chillu baby loves to play Peek-a- booh. Its more like the hide n seek game.
Earlier ( when chillu was a baby) myseslf and chillu's sdaddy used to hide our selves behind whatever and peek out ...chillu would get really exicted on that ....now she has started playing the same with us .. ( not that she is not a baby now ....she always is mommy's sweet lil chillu baby... )
She would go n hide her self...sometimes cover only her face, thinking the rest of her body is being covered too??????? and Peek - a - Booh ....

ha ha ...and if you ever try to catch her , she would run and totter as fast as she can.. ....

Learnt to run mmmm ....

Homemade Baby Food Recipies

Id like to share with you some of the home made recipies that ur baby would savor eating ... Chillu baby enjoys trying different flavours..
P.S. : These recipies are meant for babies older than 6 months.
* Lentils and rice (cereal):
Cook the lentils ( dhal) nicely and smash it.
Mix it with boiled rice or rice cereal.
Add lil ghee to it
Mix nicely and feed baby . I love it too. Try it.

* Carrot and Beans with Rice (cereal):
Boil and smash carrot and beans.
Mix it with boiled rice or rice cereals
Mix nicely and feed baby.

* Ragi soup ( Kanji)
Allow that ragi grain to sprout. ( this will take a day)
Once done, grind the sprouts and extract milk.
Boil the milk and feed baby.
Adding sugar is optional. Recommended not to add sugar.
This recipe is rich in proteins and fiber. Its good for baby. Try it out

* Vegetable Soup
Boil any vegetables you want ( Tomato, potato, onion, carrot, beans, corn, peas, squash, etc)
Add one garlic along with the vegetables.
Once cooked, beat it in the mixy and feed baby. Baby's will love a diff taste.
Adding salt is optional.

* Apple Sauce:
Boil the apples and beat them in the mixy or smash them.
Filter , to give apple juice. Or can even feed just like that as apple sauce.

I would suggest, not to add salt and sugar for babies less than 1 yr old.

Huray !!!

Chillu baby has got one tooth exuding out of her soft and tender lower gums...one more is on its way out !!! Hmmm ....she has also started saying a few words like "ta ta" , "atta atta ...", "aye..."...and "ellae ellae .." as usual ....Good Job baby !!!

Chillu's Favourite's ....

Fisher Price, Toys to play, hughes, Play school .....nah nah nah !!! nothing is as interesting as my kitchen utensiles for chillubaby!!! ...Ya , u heard it right, Chillu baby's favourite time pass is to play with my kitchen utensiles...Had i known it before, i would nt have invested in buying loads and loads of toys ....ha ha. Just kidding baby ...mommy will get u lots of toys neways !!!

Ok, so where were we ? Yes, lemme continue .on how she does it !!!..She would sit right next to the dish washer...pull out all the vessels that are at her reach and play. The vessles are her drums and the spoons are her sticks ...If these two are at her reach ur gone for a sixer !!! Hey these are not drums on which u keep hitting until it looses its shape !!! I cant explain how shapeless all my vessles are...All the spoons, plates, kadai, idly tray.... Oh come on ..what can be so interesting about that!!! But that keeps her busy and entertained for a while and im happy about that. After all, babies at this age are very curious enough and like to poke their nose into everything possible....i dont need a walker or a jumper or anything to appease her ....just open the dish washer and she s all set and busy !!! ha ha thats my sweet lil girl ....

Something that happened when i was a kid just struck my mind... My dad used to buy me toys to play ( duh ..all parents do ) ...and he would tell me " Play with it and break it ...i want to buy you more toys !!!" to break ... The same thing replicates here ...i keep telling chillu, "Play with all the vessles and break it soon ...I want to buy new vessles !!! " :))
