Our journey to dreamland ...Fantasmic !!!

It was my birthday last week and so my husband decided to suprise me with the most wonderful gift ever.. What was it ?? Well, its not diamonds...not gold.. not a rose ..nah nah ..it was a simple letter from Mickey stating " You and your family are welcome to celebrate your birthday with Mickey and co @ disney land, CA.. and dont forget to bring Ahana baby along with you" ...This trip was such a plesant suprise to me and i loved it the most!! It was always my dream to go to dreamland from childhood. Who doesnt like to go back to childhood and enjoy life ?? I was soooo much excited for this trip.. more than Ahana ..ha ha ..
The park timings were from morning 8am to 12am.. So thinking, we might not stay so long..may be we ll get back by 6pm we started our journey to dream land. But to our amazement, we could nt see even half the park's amusement in one whole day..
There were 2 theme parks in disney.
  • Disneyland park
  • Disneyland California Adventure Park
We decided to go to the disneyland park first..

Its the place where imagination is the destination. For young and old, big and small, its the happiest place on earth. You can see stories coming to live and immersing you into tales of some of the favourite disney films. Oh oh ...im no advertising disney here ..just my experience.. :)
Disneyland park has
  • Mainstreet, USA
  • Fantasy land
  • Tomorrowland
  • New Orleans Square
  • Adventureland
  • Critter Country
  • Mickey's Toontown
  • Frontierland
Main street ,USA was the entrance of disneyland, where the architecture and transportation depicted the bygone era..The 'vintage vehicle' was nice to ride..this takes us to all the stops inside disneyland.. and our first stop was at 'Fantasy land'. . . Just as how the title describes itself, fantasy land was truly a fantasy. Loved the Sleeping Beauty Castle, took a step into their enchanting stories of true love, singing the song "Its a small world" along with all the characters, took a spin the the 'mad tea cup', met 'alice in wonderland' and continued our journey to 'Mickey's toontown' ... Took pics with mickey, minnie, pluto, goofy and it was a delight to watch...all their toontown houses and clubhouse..
Nothing to mention about tomorrowland, except " Finding of Nemo - submarine ride" ...Didnt like anything much there though..coz it was all about new technology, future car, star wars and things like that.. which is not my kind :) But the submarine ride was awesome.. then continued our journey to Adventureland.. this adventureland is diff from the individual disney adventure land... We went on a jungle cruise to see all the animals..and that was fun..
NOTE: All the animals, trees, rivers, etc were artificial and i could nt believe its not real.. lol..

We continued to Frontier land ...where we went for the 'Pirates of the Caribian' ride which was awesome ..by the time we finished with frontierland, it was 7pm...it was like, time ran by at lights speed. We had yet a lot to see in our list ...but it was late by then. The only sad part of all is, each and every ride and show had a line which was long , longer and the longest of all ...But it was worth it !!
It was now time for the NIGHT shows to begin..There was fireworks scheduled near the Fantasy land castle @ 9:30pm and 'Rivers of America - show by Mickey' to be conducted in Frontier land @ 9pm and 10:30 pm. But for all these shows people were booking their seats from 6pm onways.. We tried to squeeze into them to see both the fireworks and the mickey's show... It was a delight to watch the fireworks and the mickey's show live... We enjoyed the maximum..Hats off to disney for creating such a innovative, creative, fantastic and wonderful land of family enjoyment. Ahana baby also enjoyed herself a ton..This journey was worth all the effort made !!!
We have bought a 2 day pass... So one more day of fantasy trip is awaiting us in the near future..
FANTASMIC Disney FANTASMIC !!! Cat wait to visit you again ...See you soon !!!
Will upload pics in my next post ...
