Homemade Baby Food Recipies

Id like to share with you some of the home made recipies that ur baby would savor eating ... Chillu baby enjoys trying different flavours..
P.S. : These recipies are meant for babies older than 6 months.
* Lentils and rice (cereal):
Cook the lentils ( dhal) nicely and smash it.
Mix it with boiled rice or rice cereal.
Add lil ghee to it
Mix nicely and feed baby . I love it too. Try it.

* Carrot and Beans with Rice (cereal):
Boil and smash carrot and beans.
Mix it with boiled rice or rice cereals
Mix nicely and feed baby.

* Ragi soup ( Kanji)
Allow that ragi grain to sprout. ( this will take a day)
Once done, grind the sprouts and extract milk.
Boil the milk and feed baby.
Adding sugar is optional. Recommended not to add sugar.
This recipe is rich in proteins and fiber. Its good for baby. Try it out

* Vegetable Soup
Boil any vegetables you want ( Tomato, potato, onion, carrot, beans, corn, peas, squash, etc)
Add one garlic along with the vegetables.
Once cooked, beat it in the mixy and feed baby. Baby's will love a diff taste.
Adding salt is optional.

* Apple Sauce:
Boil the apples and beat them in the mixy or smash them.
Filter , to give apple juice. Or can even feed just like that as apple sauce.

I would suggest, not to add salt and sugar for babies less than 1 yr old.
